How Energy Healing Works
What is health?
​
It can be defined as the condition of being sound in body, mind, and spirit; especially having freedom from physical disease or pain. Overall, this occurs when the immune system is strong and all of the organs and cells in the body are functioning correctly. However, there is also an underlying level of health that in general is overlooked and, when out of balance, has a direct effect on one's health. This is the core energy that supplies all of an individuals body systems with nourishment at the cellular level...also known as the body's Electro-Magnetic Field (EMF) or what scientists refer to as the Biofield.

The EMF is a bio-energy-circulation system similar to the blood-circulation system in the body. The bio-energy flows along 12 main meridians, or channels. These are symmetrical on each side of the body, each pair being related to a specific body system, organ(s) and aspect of the individual (ie. emotional, mental or spiritual aspects etc) through the appropriate chakra.

When a person is experiencing some form of "dis-ease", imbalances have already been developing in these energy flows, causing some of the transformer points to become irritated or congested. This can result in pain or weakness in the surrounding muscles as well as decreased organ function or development of such items as tumors or cancers in extreme cases.

Energy healing modalities look to address the causes of the disturbance of the energy flow in the body. Once the energy flows become balanced again, the organ and body systems will be able to work correctly and efficiently to help the body heal itself.

The Energetic Healing Aspect of Horses
​
When incorporating the horses into these sessions, a profound healing can happen just from being in their presence. This is able to happen because of the concept of resonance. As horses have large higher vibrating electro-magnetic fields (EMF), when an individual with often a lower vibrating EMF (often due to varying emotional states) joins the horse in their EMF, the human will often experience emotional and energetic releases (sometimes can be seen as tears, yawning, stomach gurgles or even the need to go to the washroom etc) as their field comes into resonance with the horses. When in this state, the energy flows can come into balance which is very beneficial on both the emotional and physical level for the participant.

Private Energy Session
The idea that being able to truly move past trauma or life stressors, is that they need to be discharged out of the nervous system. Talking about it is helpful in terms of developing awareness of what needs to be released, but the next step is to actually look to remove it.
This is where our private Energy Healing sessions are helpful. They can be facilitated in person with or without the horses present and can also be done distant in some of the methods.
Energy Healing sessions can include practices such as Reiki, 3-D Healing Hypnosis, Aromatherapy, Crystal Balancing, Sound Healing or Jin Shin Jyutsu. The modalities used will be determined by what the individual is presenting with but also what they are open to.

Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki translates as “universal life force energy” and is an amazing holistic energy healing method, developed by Dr Mikao Usui from Japan, in the early 1900's.
As Reiki is a light touch and natural non-invasive form of healing, it will never harm you or your animal. It often promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch, as practitioners send energy into the body. Reiki aids in healing by helping balance the individuals energy body system which then allows the physical body to heal itself. It is beneficial for healing in both people and animals!
It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. For many, a treatment feels like a warm glowing sensation that flows through them and surrounds them.
Note: While Reiki is a powerful and effective healing system on its own, it is also a wonderful complement to other therapies that may be helping an individual recover.
